Wow, thanks for the flood of support both on and off-list. As a
follow-up to all your questions, Mom is in our home and doing very
well. She had 3 pins put in her hip. Only had to take 2 tylenol
tablets for pain through this whole ordeal. She had 1 pill before
surgery and 1 after. Pretty good for an 88 year old lady. She is
getting around with a walker. And yes, I have 2 sisters to help out.
We all live within 20 miles and are a close family.
Mom is so sweet. She doesn't mind eating around wood chips in her
food. <G> My cooking skills are about as low as any human can go. I
know fish is good for bones so sardines and salmon it is. They come in
a can. Thank God, I know how to use a can opener. Living is a fruit
belt is helpful too. Peaches and apples can be eaten from the hand.
We will do well.
