Hi Doug,

When I buy my ticket I tell them to make a note in the computer that I will
be checking sharp carving tools with my luggage. Then when I hand them the
luggage bag to check in I tell them which bag is the carving tools. I have
had no problem. Also when I travel have one luggage bag just for my tools,
mallets, wood, patterns etc. I carry an extra $1,000 insurance rider on that
bag in case it gets lost or damaged.

I will be flying to Arizona soon and plan to take a set of palm tools with
me. I know I can't carry then with me onto the plane. Do I need to do
anything special so as not to excite security?

Keep smiling

Doug
