Merrilee,
I guess building your own workbench is always better since you can
customize it to exactly what you want. I didn't have the time or
tools when I started carving so I did the next best thing. Bought a
(relatively) cheap workbench and modified it to suit me. Did everyone
else here build their own workbench or did they wimp out like me and
buy one? :)
Almost forgot, I was at Smoky Mountain Woodcarvers in Townsend today,
spending my Christmas present (gift certificate). I took a few
pictures of the store and some of the carvings they have and posted
the pictures to my picturetrails site under the Smoky Mountain
Woodcarvers gallery.
