Jus a thought, I don't know if you are close to any mall's but you may visit one of the stores and ask to borrow a mannikin to use.
I usually have my son put on the clothes that I am trying to carve and take lots of photographs of each area. I then can mimic the smaller areas with a home built jig.

Hope this helps.
Lynn

I have had this idea for a while and should do something about it.
I always have trouble with clothing so what I would like is a life size
model that I can move the arms and legs to the required position.
I imagine that it could be made from high density foam
I have used brooms and dowels etc before but it is never just right.
There needs to be a body inside.

If anybody has done something along this line or have any good ideas I
would be glad to hear them,

Peter
