Hello all, Peter is looking for a solution to carving people and in my
humble opinion ( not really I guess most artist would back me up on this).
I would suggest you look around at some of the local colleges and you will
probably find some that have night drawing classes. They are usually
inexpencive and you will have a live modle and some good instruction in most
cases. You need to study the body and the bone structure and the muscel
structor and later after you have a idea how the body looks and works you
put some cloths on it and that is how to learn how to do the drapery and
folds and where they are and how they flow. I don't care If you are going
to paint or sculpt or what ever you will never learn in a better way then
the right way. Jack
