Hi Peter,
I made mine out of scrap timber. You can see by how rough it is that I
didn't spend much time on it. I don't know about the high ensity
polyurethene because with the rotation between the belly and chest, the
forearms and upper arm there isn't much room or need for polyrurethene foam.
The only thing I would do different is make the same rotation on the legs as
I did the arms. However I can always add that.
Now if you made a really good quality life-size one you could rent him out
to a local store (solving the storage problem) and get him only when you
need him. They would love one that could be posed and turned into any
position.
