OK, I said I had seen a new woodburner and now I've located. It is in
the Wood Carvers Supply, Inc. catalog on the inside cover and pages 52 & 53.
It is the Burnmaster Wood Burner by Mastercarver. It sounds great. It
accepts any handpiece regardless of manufacturer, has up to 130 watts of
power & costs less than $80 (79.95), with one port or $99.95 with 2 ports.
It isn't the FINELINER II, but it sounds pretty good. Is there
something more that the FINELINER II can do that others can't? Tell us why
your so sold on it.

Mark, I just saw your first message. Welcome to the list. I viewed your
carvings and am quite impressed with your carvings. Since I'm not able to
market my own items, I'm afraid I can't help you market yours; however, I
wish you success in your endeavors. Keep up the carving, your very good.

I have always piped the HPA for my air tools with soldered
copper. I have another line that I want to run & am thinking
of using Schedule 40 PVC.
Does anyone have any experience in piping HPA with PVC
& does the cement hold at the connections?

Join in on the fun!!!
For informative and fun REAL TIME conversations with a number of the
carvers on "The List", come to the Woodcarver chats. We don't always
talk about carving, but if anyone has a question or comment, we can get
serious in a hurry. Get to know the people behind the names. And bring
you carving questions with you!!!

We meet on Wednesday nights at 9:30 PM Eastern and on Sundays at 4:30
PM Eastern.

If you are NOT using an IRC chat program, I think you will like these
simplified instructions!!! Just click on one of these links: (the first
two links will take you directly to #Woodcarverchat)

http://www.starlink-irc.org/java/java_mountvernon.html?chan=#Woodcarverchat
http://www.starlink-irc.org/java/java_williamslake.html?chan=#Woodcarverchat
http://houston.tx.us.starlink-irc.org/
http://roswell.nm.us.starlink-irc.org/chat/
http://yarmouth.ns.ca.starlink-irc.org/chat.html

They will take a LONG time to load!!!!!!! Don't give up. When it finally
does load, you will be asked to type in a nickname.....then click connect,
and wait a little bit longer. The chat screen will open....You'll see a
large window with lots of text, and just under it a narrow space...put the
cursor in that narrow space.
  Type /join #Woodcarverchat ( you need the /, the # and
uppercase W) then hit the "enter" key....and you will be in the right
place.

*******

If you are using an irc chat program:
IRC Starlink Network... server: Starlink Random Server
If it's not in your mirc program you can add it:
Where it says "Description" type "Starlink Random Server"
Where it says "IRC Server" type IRC.STARLINK-IRC.ORG
Port should be 6664,6665,6666,6667,6668,6669 (all of those with no spaces
between them)
and "Group" is Starlink-IRC
*******

If you have Webtv:

Return to the Home page; http://www.starlink-irc.org
Select Community
Select Chat
Select Go to
Enter the following:
Server address: HOUSTON.TX.US.STARLINK-IRC.ORG
Port number : 6667
The channel name: #Woodcarverchat
Select Connect
Once you click on "connect", you will sign
onto the StarLink-IRC network and will immediately
join the #Woodcarverchat channel. See you on the channel

See you there!
E-mail me off the list for additional information and instructions.
I will also be monitoring icq (48595514) so feel free to message me for
help.

I plumbed my shop air with 1/2 inch sched 40 PVC over 5 years ago. It has
reliably held 100 PSI without complaint or leaking. I believe it is rated
for over 200 PSI. No shop air system should be run over 100 PSI. Most air
tools are designed for 80-90 PSI. I have a regulator on my compressor
before I connect to the PVC with a piece or flexible hose to keep
vibration from being transmitted to the PVC. Works good for me. I'm not
sure what OSHA thinks.

Dick, I ran 1/2" PVC schedule 40 to three locations in my garage and every
thing held good. Compressor was set to shut off at 125 psi. Make sure
you
get the right cement and follow directions. Also used teflon tape on the
quick connects for the hose connections. Only problem I had was after
having
used this setup for over a year I decided to move the compressor and my
main
hose reel.

I have used Montzka for years and still do but they told me they would not
