Hi Jan,
I bought and have used the FIneliner Woodburner I for a number of years
now. I purchased it from Hal McGray in Ontario and also have a number
of pens to go with it. I haven't had any issues with this burner or
the pens what-so-ever and find it very easy to control the heat. Unlike
some other units I have tried, the pens on the Fineliner do not get hot
at all and are very comfortable to use, even after hours of burning in
bird feathers.
Hope this update provides some insight on it and sorry I didn't respond
earlier.
Duane

Hi Jan, I am curious on why you are not sold on the burner.Because
someone
asked you about it.
(;-) Seriously I am wondering if there is a good reason why you don't
like
it? I would hate to see people not buy someone's product because
someone
they look up to said I am not sold on it. I know nothing about that
particular burner or even who makes it. so I am not doubting your
veracity
just curious why. Jack
