I teach four classes of six students each week.
I charge $200 for 30 hours instruction over ten weeks, which works out
to $20/student/class.
This means I make $120 for 3 hours work.
I make more teaching than I do carving commission work, for the most
part.
+++++++++++++++++++
I charge $100.00 per student for 8 two hours +_classes
take up to 10 students
Has worked out fine so far for all of us
Students pay for material and have free coffee
I teach them to sharpen there own tools
BUT I have been known to show them now and than
Kids under 14 have to have a parent or guardian to sign up for class and the
child comes free for first 8 weeks
after that I charge them half price till 16
More often than not the parent keeps on carving Kid goes to JUDO and chasing
other adventures (like girls)
