I've done similar carvings for several years.  Like you, I haven't got close
to 6 minutes.  However, Jan has much larger, and probably more powerful,
hands than I and can probably take much bigger chips.  I have some firewood
I need to cut up and was wondering if I could Jan to help me out?  :-)

Has anyone, beside me, done any of Jan's Xmas Gnomes? They
are a nice quick-carve, but I haven't got down anywhere close
to six minutes.
