<Personally, I don't think I'd pack my favorite tools.

<just my personal opinion.

That's a good one. Remember I am a beginner. I have no good tools... I
have a set of 30 dollar gouges (power something) of which I have broke
half of them. The blades are too short for my liking (1 1/2 inch) I have
1 flexcut palm tool. The blade is better, but I do not care for the
handle. I received some flexcut mallet tools for x-mass and they work
well, but I have nothing to compare then against.

I am still researching what to invest in and working on what technique
works for me. I did not think that I wanted palm tools, but now I am
starting to reconsider this notion. I am thinking of trying some pfiel
palm tools. Also the local club sells tools for around 5 bucks a tool. I
might try a couple of those style.

The process appears to be an evolution of what works for me, and I assume
that it never stops.
