Bill,
As usual it was a pleasure to go in and look at your NEW carvings and it
gave me an opportunity to again look at your old carvings. The new ones
are again, Top of the Line. Your carving is a complete inspiration to me
and I am sure to other carvers also.
Thanks for sharing
God Bless
Gene

Lynn:
I've been busy with commissions lately.
A large crest - 36" diameter - went to the Board offices of the Peace
Wapiti School board in Grande Prairie, AB.
See it at:

Also finished a carving in white birch based on Luke's account of the
parable of the Sower.
See it at the bottom of the page:

Both these carving represented a significant challenge. The Crest was
in the hardest piece of Red Oak I've ever carved in. BRUTAL. I did the
stamping took me over three afternoons so that I would not wear out my
arms. Even then, I strained my right arm and an old case of tendentious
flared up. Yikes.
The Sower carving represented a challenge in design. But I was pleased
how the spreading of the seek worked out. Raised and incised carving
added to the complexity of the carving.
Comments??
