Terry,

I agree, this is a fantastic group of people eager to share their knowledge
and experience. If you want to truly experience the camaraderie, I would
strongly recommend the Wood Carvers Round Up in Evart, MI. I went for the
first time last year, and it was truly amazing. I have copied a link to the
web site below. Take a look at some of the pictures, classes offered, and
the people teaching them. As an added bonus you will get to meet in person a
lot of people from this list!
