Sunday Woodcarver Chat....Guest Speaker, Chuck Coker AKA "The Sewer Pipe Guru"
Hello, Everyone,
We are going to try something new .
Thanks to, I believe, Jan, many of us have been introduced to the carvings
of Chuck Coker, aka "The Sewer Pipe Guru". Chuck does some pretty amazing
carvings in PVC pipe. Check out his website at
http://www.pipedreamscarving.com
Chuck has agreed to do a presentation at our Sunday chat on January 9, 2004
at 7:30 PM Eastern Time. To eliminate a lot of confusion, the chat will
be moderated, with only Chuck and a couple of other people being able to
talk during his presentation. If you have a question for him, you can
private message just the word "question" to Jack,. When Chuck is
finished, you'll be able to ask your question in the order that Jack
receives the requests. Once all of those questions are answered the chat
will be unmoderated. This is something we haven't done before so you might
want to get there a little early, especially if you have not used the
private chat function before. It's easy!
I have uploaded some photos for Chuck's demonstration to my webshots site
at http://community.webshots.com/album/246678017tOnXBQ
You may want to keep that page open during the chat so you can toggle
between the chat and his pictures.
I'm looking forward to this and hope we'll have a great turnout.
At the end of this email, I will include the instructions for getting to
the chat. Looking forward to seeing you all there.
Happy New Year,
Mush

Join in on the fun!!!
For informative and fun REAL TIME conversations with a number of the
carvers on "The List", come to the Woodcarver chats. We don't always
talk about carving, but if anyone has a question or comment, we can get
serious in a hurry. Get to know the people behind the names. And bring
you carving questions with you!!!
We meet on Wednesday nights at 9:30 PM Eastern and on Sundays at 4:30
PM Eastern.
