[Woodcarver] question of the day

I use a deck brightner on the deck. (I was reminded by another post). It cleans all the moss and dirt quite well. I wonder if something like that would help.

This is what I've used to clean the cedar deck -- "Superdeck" http://www.superdeck.com/1450spec.htm

I was cleaning this morning (I know - I must have been crazy) and
emptied a shelf in the basement that hadn't been emptied since I filled
it up 3 years ago. I had stockpiled some wood rounds - the kind that you
woodburn pictures on. We've had some wet summers and I haven't been home
to keep the cellar aired out. Anyway, several of the pieces have small
streaks of green mold growing on them.

The question is - can I do something to remove the mold and still use
the wood? There is quite an investment in these pieces and I hate to
turn them into firewood.
