I think the animated images are NOT visible at your end, as you state.
This is because the signature area of your email messages includes a 
link to the site where these animated images are stored. When you send 
a message with your signature attached, the images load on the screen 
of those viewing your message.

Try to get rid of the signature that your email program is using. 
Create a new signature with plain text in it. That should fix the 
problem.
