[Woodcarver] Modeling Clay

Hi Merrilee,
"Keep on Carvin'" does not stand freely. I will be pegging him to a base
with cobblestones carved into it's surface. There will be a 1/4" dowel up
through the ball of his back foot and a finishing nail through the heel of
the forward foot (and 5min epoxy). I anticipated that he would not free
stand... he couldn't strike that pose standing still, he must me moving
forward. The exaggeration of the drawing and the implication of forward
momentum means he'll need anchored to the base somehow. Besides... the
cobblestones will give him a little "habitat".

Sorry for the slow response, but SWMBO an I were in Lancaster this
weekend... great timing, huh?

Keep on Carvin'
-Mike B.->

PS
SWMBO = She Who Must Be Obeyed... or as Matt Kelly refers to her, "The Long
Suffering Mrs. Bloomquist"  ;-).
