hi sylda,
the work people do is indeed a treasure because they give of themselves by 
spending hours of time love and thoughtfulness.  many hours were spent by 
your grandfather contemplating how to make the box and painting it which is 
recording a precious moment of his life for his generations. wish i could 
have some of those treasures but unfortunately my treasures of paintings 
done by my uncle, who came from the seville school of fine arts, were all 
lost during the war when the japs burnt our home with everything in it.
