Rick....your carvings look real good.....glad to see that the judges at the fair feel the same....just as a suggestion.....the next landscape you do might be enhanced by stippling the background sky.....stippling is like working the leather background with a whole bunch of dots.....Bill Judt likes to include this process in many of his creations....you can take a 10 penny nail, square cut the end, and criss-cross the end with a small triangle file till you get the points or go to a leather shop and buy one of the stipplers.....it really sets a landscape off.....keep on carving......good luck
