Oh-h-h Joe, we really hate to miss the GOW this year. And now with
Peter's talk on the Coat of Arms it's like rubbing salt in an open
wound. I would LOVE to hear Peter's talk. He is so entertaining and
knowledgeable as well. Can I talk you into setting up a camcorder and
taping his presentation? I'd be happy to pay for a tape. Maybe you
could sell them as a fund raiser (with Peter's consent of course).
Tell everyone hello for us.

For all attending the GOW, I cannot recommend an evening or a class
with Peter Benson highly enough! Peter is a regular visitor to the
Mystic Carvers Retreat each year in October. I have taken several
classes with Peter and found each to be an wonderful learning
experience. His sense of humor and ability to respond to each and
every carver at the proper level of expertise needed is wonderful. You
will have to translate from British English to American English as he
goes along, but you only need to stop him for clarification and he will
be happy to oblige.
Peter has a wonderful sense of humor that is as sharp as his carving
tools. Be prepared for a fun time with Peter during the week at GOW,
he will be a great addition to the Gathering!
