Fred Cogelow developed a set of full size back bent gouges with Henry Taylor
Tools a few years back.
I have a full set of them and they are great for difficult to reach spots on
a large carving.
As Joe mentioned they work well with things like grapes, also noses, ears
plus.
Keep them sharp and use them frequently. You are lucky to have them. Old
