Hi Jan,

Looks like an old Cactus log. The face shur fits the media.  :>)

I just placed a picture of a carving

It did NOT turn out that well
But BIG DOG made me do it
Maybe some of yous know what wood or plant it is
looks and feels like sponge
Verybritle and not nice to carve
BigDog had it in his store and he wood NOT sell it to me
So he GIVE it to me  (Kind heart)
Finally after 1 1/2 year I carved a face in it and set it out site
and that's where its gonna stay
Hope it can stand our hot and very cold climate
