Exciting GOW 2005 news.

Gene Westerberg is teaching a painted Smoothie Chickadee.

2 full day classes Tuesday September 20th and Friday September 23.

Power carving and painting a Smoothie Chickadee. Equipment Dremel or  
other
rotary power tool with cutting burrs, grinding bits and sanding disks  
if you
have them. Gene will have some for those who don't have a rotary  
power tool.
Cost $10 for blank and paints. (3-students minimum, 5 students maximum).

You might remember Gene as the guy covered in sawdust in our speed- 
carving
contest. Gene used power and I used hand tools. After they declared a  
tie
Gene put a #1 on his carving. So you need to watch this guy. He's  
sneaky but
also a good bird carver.
