[Woodcarver] What tools we use? was new to the List

I'm very much a novice but the first set of tools I
bought was a set of Buck Brothers at a hardware store.
Having since bought 'real' carving tools, I'm not
impressed with the buck brothers. They've got plastic
handles and need to have the bevels fixed. I haven't
thrown them away because, according to my wife, I'm a
packrat.
I had heard that the older ones are decent, but unless
they're marketing a couple of different lines of
tools, I'll never buy another Buck Brother's carving
tool.
Just my 2 cents.
