Hey,
Just got back from the Florida Roundup. While the weather could have been better. The Roundup it's self was a great experience. Meeting some great people and keeping very busy, taking as many classes as I could in the four days that the Roundup lasted.
The hotel prices around Gainesville were inflated ( I think ) because of the National Drag races that were held the same week end at Gainesville. Which will probably be taken into consideration next year.

Hi there Sunshine,
Sorry to hear you aren't able to attend the Roundup in Florida. We aren't 
able to go either. Guess we are glad we didn't if it is that much to stay in 
the area. Guess some folks think they need to really take advantage of the 
influx of people for a special weekend. I couldn't believe that things 
changed in prices to that extent.  The thing is, they probably are all full 
anyway!!

Hope it doesn't impact others who were planning to attend. We have high 
expectations that the Roundp will be wonderful and that the weather will be 
on their side.
