Hi Peter,
Where abouts are you in Boston area? I am in Westborough, a bit west of Boston
by 30 miles. We have several retail chains that carry carving supplies,
Woodcraft in Woburn (they have carvers on staff) and Rockler in Cambridge and
Danvers, not sure if any of their staff are carvers. We also have Gregg
Dorrance in Attleborough, Carvers Plus in Leominster, and probably a few I have
forgotten. Then there are a whole bunch of good mail order places as well.
We also have the New England Wood Carvers who meet the 1st Sunday of Oct,Dec,
Feb, Apr, June at Middlesex Community College in Bedford, about 6 miles from Rt
95/128 and close to Rt 3.
Drop me a note if you have questions! Happy to help you out.
