[Woodcarver] CARVING PENCILS??? HELP

hi everyone,

has anyone in the list ever carved a pencil into a
santa or something? there is very little info on the
net about them and i would like to carve some so i can
give them to my friends at work for christmas as a
small present.
if anyone has patterns or good idears or knows of some
good sites that has them please pass it on to me .

any one know where i can buy those bigger than usual
red pencils?
