Hi Jan,

The pictures are great!  You must be a fair-to-middling teacher.:)

Did you say that female student carved cypress knees are had cypress
knees.
The former would be interesting.  The latter would be fascinating!

I had a brief but good visit with Lynn Diel at his home in Columbia, MO. 
At the present time he is awaiting treatment options.  His faith in our
Lord is strong as is Beverly's and his spirits at this time are up.  He
will be learning more, hopefully, this week. 

What a privilege it was to finally meet this fine, kind, man and his
wife.  And what an awesome carver he is.  His little beginner projects in
CARVING magazine belie the tremendously gifted carver that he is.
