hi joe,
yes , a marketing plan like you say seems to be the in thing everywhere.
have been attending workshops and seminars given by the australian arts
council, and to attract big business ..... art ...in all forms... is being
used to lure big business.... not only here in aust. but after reading the
new york times, it seems the same is being done, art luring all types of
business.

it seems to me that life is going at such a rapid pace, that most people are
not able to catch up with themselves, so they are in need to be
"entertained/brain fed"....

new interesting things seem to be the favourites at the moment.
