Al, I do a whole bunch at one time & then they're ready when I want them. I
have a scrap 1 inch board (3/4 inch) that I drilled a 1-3/8 ths inch hole
thru. I position the ball the way I want it if I want the logo shown and
mark the line to be cut around the ball with a felt tip pen.

I then use my Dremel with a 3/8 inch HSS cutter (put your glasses on) to
follow the line around the circumfrence. When the 1/8th inch shank of the
cutter touches the golf ball, the cutter is through the skin of the ball.

Then I take a small screwdriver & pry-off the half that I want removed. You
have to be careful with the prying-off. If the screwdriver slips, it goes
into the finger on the hand holding the ball (been there, done that)... only
did it once.
