Hi Jan!
   I get the line making around and down the egg but how did you do the 
inside part to each diamond shape?  Barry Makenzie (a chip carver from 
Missouri) did a 3 sided chip with 3 more inside it.  To do that he did a 
regular 3 sided chip then using a shallow chip put the new one inside each 
until there were 3 inside the orginal.  It looks really cool.  But I can't 
tell if that is what you did with yours or not.  They look different I 
think!  And as Terry said it is intriguing!!
