for years i have used the veritas carver's vise with great delight... for 
demonstrations, workshops or just plain enjoyment at home.  buy a good tool 
and it will be a wonderful extension of you and you will learn to respect 
the tools and  together you will create such energy that it makes your heart 
happy.
