[Woodcarver] Butternut (formerly Black Walnut)

Interesting conversation on the butternet. I know of a fellow who has a
pile of butternut, they are about 4 by 6 and 8 foot long. Don't know what
it is worth, I am sure some of it has knots etc, cause it is just rough
sawn. It almost sounds like it is something I should be looking into. How
much per bd foot would butternut in those chunks be worth.
