[Woodcarver] Wood density

  I want to thank every one that responded to my question.  I got some very useful info I could not find in my books.

  It really is a shame about butternut becoming so hard to find.  I use to find it air dried in Lancaster Pa. from time to time but it is getting very scarce.  I like carving it but the info I got has givin me a couple alternatives.
