I agree with everything Joe said. If you're going to be working with
knives you might be sitting more than standing at a vise. I like a
chair that "suits/fits" me. I like a chair with a short arm (like a
captain's chair) that I can rest an elbow on occasionally and study my
piece. The arms should be short enough so the elbows don't bump them
while carving. You need freedom of body movement but also relaxation.

Thanks for sharing your joy with us. I'm excited for you.

BTW, Big Dog and Miss Carol are working on something for
you...something nice. (suspense)
