Hi Harry
When I carve with a knife, I carve sitting at a table with
a large piece of denim, or bath towel to catch the chips. With
care, very few chips end up on the floor.
When I carve with power, I use a homemade dust collector.
The dust collector is basically a large box fan (about 50 cm
across) with furnace filters taped to the OUT side.
Happiness is a tall boat and a breeze to fill her sails
Have a good day
