You're right, Steve, but there's a bit more to the fluorescrbt lighting
stuff, for general shop lighting.
There is the Color Temperature (rated in degrees); the Color Rendering Index
(CRI ); type of ballast, how/where the fluorescent fixture is placed; and
...believe it or not ... how old YOU are.

Task lighting only requires an incandescent bulb, or if you want more a
'Halogena' bulb. I bought a fixture at Wally World that takes a 60 watt bulb
& has a built-in magnifing lens that cna be also used. Cost about $10.

I did a Word document (for another list) that went into more detail. If you
want I'll dig it out & send you a copy (attachment).
