Fellow carvers,

Here is more information on Gene Westerberg's Smoothy Bird class. It  
is designed to be an introduction to power carving. (Remember Gene is  
the fellow who was the power carver in the speed-carving contest at  
the GOW, the fellow covered in sawdust?) Gene said this bird could be  
completed in a 1-day class. He will already have the bases and dowel  
foot ready.

Gene is an excellent teacher with many years of teaching shop in  
school to draw his experiences from. I thought you might like to see  
a picture of the project bird by going to my Webshots link below. It  
is the last picture in my first album labeled Carving Misc.

This is just one of the exciting classes I'm proud to offer.
