Nena: Frank Russell is the expert on power carving.   There are several 
annuals put out by Wood Carving Illustrated on Power carving.   Frank Russell Has 
"Carving Vermont Folk Figures","Carving Realistic faces with Power", and 
"Carving Folk Figures with Power" for starters.    Rip
