Hi Larry-
This past Saturday 9/10/05 the wife and I were coming off a cruise ship
in Honolulu, Hawaii on Pier I (Don Ho's place) and came upon a power carving
judged show that was great. The important part was it was sponsored by
Woodcraft Shops covering all the Islands in Hawaii. The participants had to
use wood from the Hawaiian Islands, which consisted of 26 different types,
and they were very impressive and massive in size/originality. Do you have
any contacts from this group in the islands of Hawaii?
