[Woodcarver] Re: First post- how to price?

hope i am not butting in here but reading what you all are saying ... may i
add

that even if i try to do a more sellable item, i find that i cannot make
something that i do not like, because i enjoy sculpting beautiful things,
and i put myself on the buyers' shoes... and if i only had for argument's
sake, $20 or $50, but fell in love with that piece, i would treasure that
item for the price asked, and at $20 or $50, if i like it, i would treasure
it, buy it with my last dollar, and i would be soooo proud that the artist
was able to do such a beautiful thing at such a treasured price and i would
indeed give it the best home i can give it, because it is such a delight.

hope you do not mind, but i could not resist, the artist in me, needs to
appreciate other artists, and other artists need to appreciate the carver.

cheers
