thanks alex,
i find the same.... too much to do...not enough time...

just curious as to what worked best from all the comments you received from the list.

am restoring a sculpture i did a few years ago, which was an award piece i made of a timbergetter, and contrary to my recommendations ...that is.... avoid extreme changes of temperatures such as air conditioning snow heat etc. and to cover the sculpture with a glass dome....they did neither.... so now that the big timbergetting festival is coming ...they need the sculpture but cracks etc. have forced the figure upwards...the axes were broken etc. very disappointing when they do not take care of things...

am restoring it with wax as i have experienced in the past that this works, and it was something i learnt from egyptian artisans... ivan whillock's advice ...also great...

good luck with it.

cheers
maricha

My wife made me promise not to bring another project home until I got the income tax done so the wooden lady still waits for me. I will probably bring it home this coming Sunday afternoon. I have so many interests and activities, lots of what I do seems to move at a snail's pace. However, every once in a while something gets completed!
