Claude,
No I haven't seen that site, and it was very interesting. I have the
Virtual Poser 2 book/CD which is similar (model on a turntable), but
that site you gave the link to has a more complete (and realistic) range
of body types and ages. Thanks for the URL.

Keep on Carvin'

There are some of the Andrew Loomis books here as well that you can
download one page at a time...

Alex,

I'll be sure to keep the pictures coming. I'm glad you enjoyed them.
It's kinda at a sit-back-and-take-a-hard-look stage right now. Thanks
for the book recommendation. I have that one AND his earlier one on
Figure Carving. I preferred the earlier one for figures, but "Carving
the Classic Female Face" is very good and has more than the same
sections in his earlier work (see my reviews in WOM).

Hi Mike. I enjoyed your photos showing progress on your carving of the
nude figure - look forward to seeing the finished result. Something
like that is definitely on my to-do-one-of these-days list. My first
step in this direction was getting the book "Carving Classic Female
Figures in Wood" by Ian Norbury - it is really good and might be one you
would enjoy looking at as you finish your project.
Alex
