[Woodcarver] Rod's carvings

Hi Rod - thanks for sharing the photos of your carved sticks.  I really like all of them.  I especially like the way you have the copperhead wrapped all around the stick and am wondering was that carved from one piece of wood, was the snake carved separately and the stick "snaked" through the snake, or was the snake carved from an already-twisted vine and the stick put through it?
