I use my carving jack for traveling or when I don't want to carry a
full box of tools. It works very well for me.
It is made of the same high grade steel as regular flex cut tools and
holds and edge well. I have had no problem yet with any of the
blades getting loose or wobbly.
I really like it, but would NOT recommend it for use as a primary
tool for someone just getting started. They are also kind of pricy
so you have to be in a position where having a carving tool in your
pocket is something that you will really use.
