[Woodcarver] Whillock Carve-Fest cancelled

Hi Carvers,
 
We're sorry to tell you this news - my family and I have decided to
cancel Carve-Fest 2006.  It was scheduled for Labor Day weekend in
Faribault, MN.  
 
As many of you know, we discovered that I have cancer again.  The type
of cancer I have this time is quite aggressive, and it had spread.  The
tumors have been removed, but there could still be lingering cancer
cells.  For this reason I will be having two very aggressive kinds of
chemo beginning soon.  This treatment will continue for six months.  I
just won't be able to put much time and energy into planning and
marketing Carve-Fest.  We don't want to have a festival that is only
done half as well as it could be, so it is better to reschedule for
another year.  After I have kicked this cancer out of my life
completely, we will have a huge, well-done festival!!
 
We hope that this doesn't inconvenience you!

planning to attend - we appreciate your help in spreading the word.
