I just love show and tell. People are so talented!
I have two projects ongoing which are illustrated at the top of this page.

The carving you see propped against my car is the largest I have ever done
measuring a good 4¹ x 3¹.
It is modeled on a panel from the Ara Pacis (Altar of Peace) built by
Augustus about the year 1. Tellus the Earth Mother is in the center with
personifications of sky and water at her sides. At the rate I carve, this
will take me another year to complete.

I look forward to viewing other carvers¹ works.
