[Woodcarver] Whatcha corv'n????????????

Bill,

The chip carved serving tray is decorative only as the bottom is only 
1.4" thick. It was purchased from Chipping Away in Canada.  The finish 
is 4 coats of Deft - does that stuff STINK!!! - but it is good.  I'm 
thinking of using 1/8" acrylic to put on top of the tray so it can be 
used for light functional duty.

How is the tray finished?  It occurred to me that this tray would
need to be protected from spills.
