Welcome to wood carving. Sounds like you are well on your way and you are in 
the right place as Michigan is a wood carvers heaven. There are probably a 
number of clubs that you would be able to visit depending where in Mid-Mich 
you are located. You can start by going to the Michigan Wood Carvers 
Association site at   http://miwca.com    There you can find a listing of 
their Michigan member clubs. Other carving events are coming up so check 
their events schedule also. If you have any questions you are welcome to
