[Woodcarver] "High" & "Deep" - Question

I read what Ivan & Tom wrote as explanations for "High" & "Deep" carvings.
Being new to carving also I gained some knowledge from them also. 

To get away from the technical explanations & provide some basic information
in layman's terms here's how the difference was explained to me. 'High
Relief' is undercut & 'Low Relief' isn't. 

Although I enjoy learning the more technical descriptions like Ivan & Tom
provided, sometimes its easier to learn when someone dumbs it down for me.
Just until I figure out what I'm doing...lol
